FAYETTEVILLE — If you've watched Arkansas men's basketball play Kentucky at Bud Walton Arena in recent years, you've almost certainly seen them. You might hate them. You might love them. You might just be confused by them.
Affectionately known as "Sharkansas," the recent tradition of hundreds of Arkansas students clad in bright blue shark costumes has drawn the ire of some and the adoration of others.
For one game each season, typically when the Razorbacks play Kentucky, a group of Arkansas students has donned the costumes. Some Razorback fans don't like it: The blue feels too close to the color Kentucky wears, or the sharks remind them of Ole Miss' attempts to adopt the animal as its mascot.
