Tim Burton’s Wednesday sees new actors tackle the iconic Addams Family characters, with plenty of familiar faces and newcomers playing the “outcasts” and “normies” at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday follows teenage character Wednesday Addams as she enrolls in Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts located in the town of Jericho. The supernatural outcasts at Nevermore often find themselves in conflict with the local “normies” (humans without supernatural powers), which becomes exacerbated when a string of brutal murders terrorizes Jericho. As Wednesday adjusts to her new school and learns to control her psychic powers, she also investigates a murder mystery that involved her parents 30 years ago.
