Get your bow ties and big hats ready – the St. Pete Pier is going full derby this May. The 13 Ugly Men’s “Derby at The Pier” will be held on Saturday, May 6th, from 3-9 pm at the St. Pete Pier in Spa Beach Park.
Guests are encouraged to don their best derby hats, sundresses, seersucker suits, and bow ties for an afternoon and evening full of high-end bourbon, specialty craft cocktails, cigars, and of course, the traditional mint julep – all while enjoying a serene, picture-perfect waterfront venue with views of the DTSP city skyline and the beautiful bay.
There will be derby-themed food and craft cocktails, naturally, as well as live music, derby-themed games, and of course, big screen TV walls to watch the race. There will also be a custom and hand-rolled cigar bar on site.
