Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure Premieres August 25 on Netflix

Netflix Anime has announced that the stop-motion anime series Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure will premiere on Netflix on August 25, 2022.

The second stop-motion anime of the Rilakkuma franchise was first confirmed by Netflix for an initial 2021 premiere in October 2020. This was due in part to the success of Rilakkuma and Kaoru on the streaming service. For reasons unknown, the premiere date has been changed to this Summer 2022. The same animation production staff from the first series are reportedly returning to work on Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure. The team consists of Masahito Kobayashi as director and Naoko Ogigami as screenwriter. San-X is credited with supervision, production, and publication of the anime series. Illustrator and character designer Aki Kondou is the creative advisor. Shigeru Kishida (Deaimon) composed the series’ music. Dwarf is the animation production company for the stop-motion anime.
