“You took [my kids] from me,” and “see you in hell” were one of the last texts Frederick Pinney sent his ex-wife hours before TayClair Moore’s dead body was found on his bedroom floor, according to new evidence introduced by the prosecution during the closing arguments of Pinney’s murder trial Friday.
Frederick Pinney, 54, stands accused of strangling 29-year-old Moore to death in his Springfield home on Agnes Street in 2014. Pinney’s second jury trial began last week, nearly seven years after his initial 2016 trial ended in a mistrial due to a conversation between a juror and an alternate during deliberations.
