With COVID-19 affecting local businesses and local oil field workers after the recent economic bust of oil prices, local business Coaches Corner made a special shirt in order to give back to families.
Announced at the beginning of the day Tuesday, the owners of Coaches Corner introduced a shirt that reads "Oilfield Strong" and they will be selling these shirts for this week.
All of the proceeds from the shirts will go back into the community and the plan is for Coaches Corner to purchase gift certificates from small businesses/restaurants across the Duncan area.
They will do a give away to families affected by the recent oil crash and their goal is to be able to afford five gift certificates for five families.
Orders are for two type of shirts, Gildan or Canvas style shirts. The Gildan shirts will cost $9 apiece for youth small to adult XL and $12 apiece for 2XL up to 4XL.
The Canvas T-Shirts are $11 apiece for adult small to adult XL and the 2XL and 3XL shirts are $13 each.
