LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
Louisville's oldest and most unusual costume shop is ready for those last minute shoppers during Halloween week.
Caufield's Novelty is on West Main Street in Downtown Louisville. It's easily spotted by the giant bat and hearse out in front.Caufield's has been in business for 102 years and is still family owned operated.
The shop is open year round and is stocked with thousands of costumes and accessories.
The month of October is it's busiest time of year when costumes start flying off the shelves.
They also have animatronics, decorations, masks and makeup.
Tracy Caufield Johnson said Halloween week is extremely busy for them but they still have plenty of costumes.
