Warning: Spoilers for Better Call Saul season 6, episode 8, "Point and Shoot."

Better Call Saul season 6 finally explains Breaking Bad's Lalo/Ignacio line. Years before Lalo Salamanca became a threatening villain on Better Call Saul, the character was referenced in a throwaway line of dialogue in the early Breaking Bad episode, "Better Call Saul." That episode features a scene where Walt and Jesse intimidate Saul Goodman by kidnapping him and holding him at gunpoint in the desert. Pleading for his life, Saul exclaims, "It wasn't me! It was Ignacio, he's the one!" before asking Walt and Jesse if Lalo sent them to kill him.
