When shopping for a new mom, whether it's for Mother's Day, her birthday, or just a cute congratulatory gift, it can be easy to just resort to buying cute things for the baby.
But you should try to think outside of the box. Really, it's an opportunity to get her something she really needs for herself or is catered toward her self-care. (But okay fine, cute baby presents will also be appreciated!)
"Moms deserve gifts more than the new baby," says Jennifer Nied, WH fitness editor and new momma. "During pregnancy, moms-to-be get allll the attention, but as soon as baby arrives, the focus goes to baby 24/7 for everyone. I found gifts that made my new out-of-control life a bit easier to be the most useful."
